Thanks to the Alumni Foundation, Bronx Science has partnered with Story 2, a private consulting firm that works with students to support college essay writing. They have already held one workshop and will hold another one for seniors on Tuesday, Sept 27 from 3-4pm in the Multi-Purpose room of the Library. In addition to providing access to Essay Builder – a brainstorming tool that helps students generate essay topics and find the unique parts of their story – Story 2 will deliver personalized editorial comments to senior student essays that are uploaded to their site by October 5th. Story2 is assisting our Guidance and English Departments to work closely with students on the writing of their personal statement essays. Project Accepted has been instrumental in helping students refine their interview skills and we are confident that Story2 will do the same for essay writing. Thank you again to our alumni for this valuable resource.
