Dear Fellow Parents & Guardians:
  
We hope our families enjoyed Spring Break. Back to work tomorrow!

Please join us IN PERSON at our next PA meeting this Thursday, April 28th at 7:00pm. Topic: Meet the Teachers! 
 
We have all had the opportunity to meet our students’ teachers during PT conferences. But oftentimes, those conversations are short and are centered around our own student’s performance. At this meeting, a panel of teachers will field questions submitted in advance and from the floor for an open discussion about this “new normal” year. The event will be moderated by Assistant Principal Andrew Nasser. We encourage parents to submit questions in advance here and to RSVP here.  
 
At this meeting, as per Chancellor’s Regulations, we will be:
a) voting on our amended by-laws, which can be viewed here and have already been approved by the PA Executive Board; and
b) revealing our slate of nominees for the PA Executive Board and SLT elections in May.
 
Again, this meeting will be held IN PERSON in the school auditorium with a livestream. According to current protocols, parents and guardians wishing to attend must show proof of vaccination and present a same-day health screening form (on their devices). If possible, come early for an alcohol-free happy hour. Meet other BxSci parents and enjoy light snacks and refreshments prior to the meeting in the school gymnasium from 6:15 to 6:55pm.

Finally, we are looking for a parent volunteer who has artistic ability and experience with graphic design to develop logos for our Senior Toolkit for the Class of ’22. Interested and available? Please contact us at president@bxsciencepa.org
