The state of our school is strong. This was the message delivered by Principal Rachel Hoyle at last Wednesday’s PA meeting. Her report included overwhelmingly positive information and uplifting images of a near normal school year filled with student achievements and celebrations; a presentation about our soon-to-be-renovated, multi-purpose Room 131; and solid college admissions results for our seniors. Congratulations to the newly elected members of our Executive Board and SLT parent representative (see below, including a message from our co-presidents-elect Christine Kattan, Jayesh Patel and Elizabeth Polkovitz).
Please mark your calendars. Our next and final virtual PA meeting of the school year will be Wednesday, June 15th at 7:00pm and will feature a panel of returning BxSci grads, who will discuss their experiences in college and life after Science.
Don’t miss the fun! Join Bronx Science families, friends and staff as we return en masse for our first Night Out at Yankee Stadium since 2019 on Thursday, June 2nd. Discounted tickets (all in Section 234) are selling fast and can be purchased on Eventbrite here now. The deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, May 27th.
AND, we want to invite all Bronx Science families to an end-of-year social at Ellington in the Park (lower level at the amphitheater style seating/stairs) at approximately W. 105th St in Riverside Park, Manhattan on Sunday, June 5th from 4:00 to 6:00pm. More details to follow.
